Enough time (1 1/2 years) has passed since I had surgery for otosclerosis performed on both ears by Dr. Kohan. I waited to make sure there were no side effects/relapses related to my hearing. The surgery has changed my life, both professionally and personally. I can hear better than most people I know. I was 65 at the time of the surgery. If you have the same diagnosis and are resisting hearing aids, run, don’t walk, to Dr. Kohan’s office. An admitted coward, the surgery was a total non event both times. In fact, the whole experience could not have been better thanks to Dr. Kohan, the comfortable surgical facilities and the incredibly competent and courteous office staff. Thaks Dr. Kohan!!
